AREA OF EXPERTISE
Stovie Moore is a Senior Investment Associate with Own Alabama focusing on asset management and acquisitions. He is also part of the Colliers International | Alabama Investment Team. Stovie is responsible for various aspects of seeking out, analyzing, and executing buy side and sell side wealth-building investment opportunities in addition to managing private investment entities. Stovie’s areas of expertise encompass investment strategy, acquisition and due diligence, ongoing investment management, and disposition strategies.
Stovie has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience, with the majority focused in commercial real estate lending including underwriting, loan origination, and debt-investment management. Prior to joining Colliers, Stovie worked for Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, BB&T, Colonial Bank and Trimont Real Estate Advisors. In prior roles, he helped arrange over $100 million in commercial and multifamily debt, managed loan portfolios including a 150-loan multifamily portfolio under Fannie Mae’s DUS loss-sharing program and provided loan investment management services to some of the nation’s largest commercial real estate lenders. Stovie has experience analyzing commercial real estate product types including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and self storage. His experience spans special asset management during the Great Recession to loan and investment production during the current market environment. Stovie is a licensed real estate agent with the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
EDUCATION AND PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Stovie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate from Georgia State University, where he attended via athletic and academic scholarships.
